M8X2 Posted June 28 Share #1 Posted June 28 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hi all, Although I have no beef with Adobe or their licensing model, I'm thinking that my current use doesn't justify the annual purchase of their Fotos suite. As a user of Apple, Photomator sounds like a potential alternative. I've been watching a few videos and the reviewers praise it. However, never trust the internet, so I'm asking here. Did anyone of you test and/or switch to Photomator? What do you like, what do you not like? How painful is the migration from LR?

stephan54 Posted June 28 Share #2 Posted June 28 Not exactly what you are asking, but I switched from LR6.14 to Nitro Photo on my Macbook. Relatively new programme by gentlemencoders, but the developer was also involded in Aperture. Questions are anwered within a day. There is a slight learning curve as some sliders behave a bit differently from LR. Anyway it does what it has to do and I positive about the change. Apple bought Photomator, so one does not know what direction they will take with the programme.
