This is the achilles heel of the Hasselblad system for me, tbh. I don't like having to use Phocus but the results are great. Lightroom's results aren't quite as good. A bit OT but ah well. I've considered parting with my x2d because of the workflow alone, I just am really getting to the point where the complications of various systems feel like an increasing waste of time in my life given what I need for my work. But yes, I agree that no amount of profile magic I've tried has compared to the results I get in C1 for any of my Leicas to be honest - that includes the M10, M10 Mono and SL2 currently. I'm sure it's probably possible but again that's more computer effort. Rather dig a ditch - gets further and further away from what makes me love photography. Advertisement Posted July 2 Posted July 2 Hi pgh, Take a look here M10R = Capture One or Lightroom?. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
albireo_double Posted July 3 Share #22 Posted July 3 Sold my X2D because of this very reason ^^^ . Have been using C1 for many years now; the best colours and workflow for all my Leica S3/SL3/M11M and Phase One files. Usually apply one of the "Beyond Film" styles in C1 - I find that these styles provide a great shortcut to completed, presentable images with a consistent look.

pgh Posted July 3 Share #24 Posted July 3 (edited) It’s still just too good a tool for me to sell because of software, frustrating as it is. And thankfully very little needs to be done in Phocus for me typically. Which is why I haven’t been able to part yet… If I owned an s3 or phase one I might part with it but those were always out of my budget. But I will be curious about the S4 if/whenever it comes. At this point might be able to offload enough to make it feasible. Edited July 3 by pgh

Neither Adobe standard neither de Leica specific profile. I have seen some Capture One recommendations. Before I start installing another system and maybe even invest. Did someone do a comparison on both softwares output? If you have a Mac try Photomator. It's what I use.
