Focus in the Apeture Mode?

I am using the Leica Lux Grip with the Leica Lux App already for some time. With one of the last updates of the App (I am currently running the version 1.7.2 (164)), I have the following issue. When being in the Aperture Mode of the App and when pressing the shutter button of the grip half down, no focus rectangle appears anymore. Such a (green) focus rectangle only appears when tapping with the finger on the iphone screen - however, I want to avoid using the touch input of the screen. I do not have this problem in the Photo Mode of the App. In that case, when pressing the shutter button half down, the focus rectangle appears in the middle of the screen.

Do you know, whether that is a bug in the Aperture Mode? Or was the feature for some reason eliminated on purpose?

I'm still waiting for Leica to actually get the Lux Grip back in stock and shipping to camera outlets in the UK, so I can't really comment about whether this is a common fault. I have noticed, though, that there is already another new update to the Leica LUX app in the App Store (1.7.3) less than week after the release of the version you are using. So, I'd suggest updating to this version to see if they have fixed that problem.

No change with the 1.7.3 version...
