Ken Abrahams Posted May 21 Share #1 Posted May 21 Advertisement (gone after registration) Every year I bang on about "May Light" and how excellent it is for Photography. Everywhere I look during the month of May there is a wonderful quality of light. The Sun is low in the sky which almost creates horizontal light with its long shadows, most of the day. II am sure there are other places in the world where the quality of light is spectacular at certain times of the year however here in the West of Australia the sun is less intense and the colour temperature seems warmer. This image taken with the SL3 and SVE SL 14-24 (which likes a contrasty light) and taken around 10:00 hours. The Sun is rising from right to left which would make the noon position of the Sun maintaining its low position in the southern hemisphere sky. Welcome, dear visitor!
