They're still €175 (close to $200) here in Germany 💁♂️ Available in the UK for £142 inc. our 20% vat.

If I were a US Leica retailer there's no way I'd accept incoming stock at the higher price that's now outdated. That said, Leica is probably in no mood to be bouncing their prices up and down to match the whims of US politics, so they may feel like the price can just stay high, which will cover any further increases above 30%. Glad I bought spares a while ago for my M11-P. I also got a couple cases of French wine when The Felon Guy took office, anticipating he would tariff the EU. 1

So what is the excuse now that tariffs are only 30%, so US prices should be $260? They somehow forgot to lower the price. 1

Only Orange Man can push through a 30% tariff increase and have the world say he backed down and folded. I'll take a 30% increase to the bank all day. And yet Leica battery prices remain 100% increased... so who is pocketing the other 70%... the distributors or Leica? I think it is the distributor at Leica's direction.
