Simone_DF Posted May 6 Share #6 Posted May 6 @F-train the Leica SF-24D was a rebadged Metz flash. Metz went bankrupt about 10 years ago, so these flashes are no longer produced. You can occasionally still find one, generally at an inflated price, but keep in mind that they are not serviceable and that they may not work properly with future Leica cameras. At 125€ you got a bargain, I've seen them going for 400€ and above.
Carrot Posted May 6 Share #7 Posted May 6 Advertisement (gone after registration) I’ve used the iM30 and iM20 on Q43, found them great for fill-in flash, rather like using the X100 with its built-in flash. Doesn’t take long to work out how much power you need for different distances, and it’s easy to manually adjust the power setting. The iM20 is tiny, easy to keep in your pocket, or just leave in on and turn it on/off as you need to.
Photon42 Posted May 6 Share #8 Posted May 6 I have recently used an IM20 for fill-in. Very small flash and rechargeable with USB-C. Manual though, but not a large issue with digital cameras.
zlatkob Posted May 6 Share #9 Posted May 6 Manual only is very unfortunate. Useable, but much less practical than TTL.

Barely used it, perhaps I’ll cash the profit…. I have a Godox Retro for my M3. Decent quality, but not even close to German.
