Harbelot, the chromatic aberation is pretty much only at 24mm in the corners.  The more you zoom in, the less it comes up.  At 24, i can make it happen every time.  And thats on multiple copies of the lens at this point.  And its in the deep corners.  I shoot architecture and interior design for publications for a living…so this always ends up being curtains or a window, or something annoying for me…so not having that happen in lens is a big deal.  The 24-70 will stay on for client projects at the moment.  Im still figuring out where i stand on the 24-90.  I love the feel of the lens.  The focus ring on the 24-70 is so loose feeling in comparison.  We’ll see.

i also just noticed that the SL3 files seem much better actually in capture one.  Ive been hot foldering the files into lightroom while tethering in capture one.  I might experiment with this more as well…
