ZoomEnjoyer Posted April 22 Share #1 Posted April 22 Advertisement (gone after registration) I recently pulled out my Leica Minilux to shoot some film again, but unfortunately, it's not powering on at all. There’s nothing on the top LCD display, and the camera doesn’t respond when I try to turn it on, press the shutter, or move the mode dial. I’ve tried the following: Replaced the CR123A battery with a fresh, name-brand one (tried multiple brands). Cleaned the battery contacts with isopropyl alcohol. Left the battery out for several minutes before reinserting. Opened/closed the lens cover and switched modes to check for any sign of life. Still, the camera remains completely unresponsive — no display, no sounds, nothing. Has anyone experienced something similar? Is this most likely the ribbon cable? Probably not, that usually shows an error code. Maybe a capacitor or something like that has run completely flat. If you leave the camera with a fresh battery in it for a few days, maybe it will spark back into life?
