CL firmware update from 2.0. Any downsides?

I've been using a CL for many years (~2018) without issue. I haven't bothered to update firmware but currently it's version 2.0. What do I get with the current version and are there any possible issues?

I suggest you read the file that comes with the upgrade. My recollection is that it introduces some very desirable features.

There may be (probably is) some threads on what changed in the 3.x versions, but I think they were less interesting.

The 4.0 and 4.1 firmware made the menu much easier with a graphic display. A real improvement on having to rely on favorites. All the basic photography modes are on one screen.
