I shall add that to my list of check thanks :) what’s the best procedure for that?

I have a mate with a M10R so I’ll get him to take a few shots also just to rule that lens out…

Its worth shooting wide open. Any decentering will usually show up as a variation in performance across the frame and it struck me thay this could have the effect of perhaps exacerbating any uneveness in cast dependng on how the light strikes the sensor - so might result in an uneven (top right) cast. Shoot wide open, detailed scene, then see if there is any variation in terms of fine detail. I've had lenses (including Leica M) with decentering and it generally shows at full aperture with one side of the image not quite as 'sharp' as the other. No guarantees this is part of the problem but its worth checking and hopefully ruling out.

It’s another one off the list to check, I’d love to figure it out somehow so completely appreciate all your kind words guys :)

Well, it looks like an issue with my summilux 35. Stuck the summicron 50 on today, went for a walk on the coast and took a series of different shots at different apertures etc and zero purple in the corners. Stuck the 35 on and they appeared. Looks like the decentering issue could be the case here. Going to book it for inspection and repair asap. In the meantime I’ll just stick with the 50 on there, I have a Q3 in the meanwhile for anything wider :) Will confirm as soon as I have an update but thanks for the tip ;)

Magenta tint was one of the many reasons I got rid of my M11.

Not sure if we ever heard from the couple of people that were sending there’s back for recalibration? There was mention of it in one of the many magenta threads.

I’m so happy to be back using some other cameras. Only thing I’m really missing is the resolution and the app.

The two people who sent them off said they came back neutrally calibrated. It’s clearly a design choice.
