Advertisement Posted March 23 Posted March 23 Hi -MR-, Take a look here Nikon 24-70 2,8 AF-S on Leica SL3s?. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
Coral Palm Posted March 24 Share #2 Posted March 24 I know with the original SL 601 I had a Novoflex converter to use a Nikon lens, I forget what the real problem was as in slow or non existent autofocus? In most cases with converters you are robbing Peter to pay Paul and will be giving up something. If you find the correct converter and can try it vs a lens designed for the L system you will see the differences whatever they may be.
Phill H Posted March 24 Share #3 Posted March 24 I doubt there is a converter available for a SL3 / Nikon Lens combintion. The Novoflex worked on the SL-601 and SL2 although with what can be best described as very frustrating autofocus reliability with the SL2, manual focus via the 100% liveview worked everytime. Quality wise the results were very good. For ease of use a L-Mount lens will win
Jonathan Levin Posted March 24 Share #4 Posted March 24 I use the Novoflex F to L adapter on the SL3 with a 60mm Nikkor macro on occasion. Certainly not ideal since everything is manual. Kind of reminds me of a small version of my view camera days. You won't be shooting sports with this set up🥹
