Have you tried? With the bit color depth set to 14 I have no problems shooting with vintage lenses. I am not an expert but when you choose 14 bit less data is sampled, that is why readout is faster. I shoot all the time with mounted lenses without any problem. However, as soon as I switch to 16 bit, I start seeing the problem you mentioned. According to Hasselblad, The X2D's sensor readout time is 166 ms in 14-bit mode and 370 ms in 16-bit mode. Both are useless in my usage, travel, landscape etc. Banding and rolling shutter are unpredictable on 14 bit or 16 bit. Try your electronic shutter with a car driving 60km/h paralley to you... you will see. 166ms is a little bit more then the M11...
