Camera was around my neck on a Peak Design Lite strap and it got to the ground before me. I watched in horror as it went down, lens first! Fortunately I had a lens hood and half case fitted so only incurred a couple of marks to the hood. Had I had an auto lens cap with the lens out, the story might have been worse. So just a bit of food for thought, for a moment you might not expect (I didn't) - Auto Cap or Hood? I'll be sticking with the hood! I also like a wrist strap, depending on the circumstances - that wouldn't have turned out well either... 2 Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
