WarrenInOntario Posted March 19 Share #1 Posted March 19 Advertisement (gone after registration) I recall someone posting that they had seen a retailer offer new unboxed Leica cameras that might be now officially "discontinued" by the manufacturer. If so, does anyone know how to source a waranteed M10-P from a legitimate authorized retailer/reseller anywhere in the world? Alternately will Leica sell brand new or fully reconditioned models with a manufacturer's warrantee to a consumer?

Zeitblom Posted March 19 Share #3 Posted March 19 Have a look to an M10-P „Safari“. These are offered sometimes by collectors who never unboxed them.
WarrenInOntario Posted March 19 Author Share #4 Posted March 19 Hi Zeitblom agreed a collector might be interested. And it is beautiful but likely very expensive. Let me know if you spot one!
7enderbender Posted March 20 Share #5 Posted March 20 I’m pretty certain you can find those still. Or you can look for direct sales from Leica stores of like-new/certified pre-owned models. That’s how I bought my M10-R a few months ago. For all practical purposes it appears to be like a brand new camera, complete with all boxes, paperwork and accessories. There were no significant cost savings over a brand new M11, but I liked this model better.
WarrenInOntario Posted March 20 Author Share #6 Posted March 20 Congratulations on the new camera. Hope you are enjoying it. Was your M10-R "certified" and therefore eligible for warranty? Any hiccups during the import process or at customs? Thanks.

And no, not imported since I bought it directly from the Leica store in D.C. (and I’m located in the US in a different state). 1
