q2soon Posted March 11 Share #1 Posted March 11 Advertisement (gone after registration) Guys! I'm so excited. For the longest time I wanted a Leica Q. Tomorrow I'm driving 1 hour to get one. It's a used Q2 from 2019 for 2950 euro. As far as I can judge from the photo's it looks in mint condition. I wanted to ask here for some advise on things to look out for, or anything else in general. Please give me some tips Thanks

jjroroek Posted March 11 Share #2 Posted March 11 (edited) lens should be very clear, no dents no scratches on the display aperture ring should click smootly focus ring on manual should turn smooth , no scratch sound autofocus should work perfect evf clear and no dust inside !! no dust on the sensor. make a pictue at F16 of a egal white wall . if there is dust on the sensor you can see that in the picture review Edited March 11 by jjroroek

costa43 Posted March 11 Share #4 Posted March 11 (edited) All of the above. I would also check the dials and the battery and memory card release. The macro setting is also worth checking, make sure it’s smooth. Congrats by the way, all being well you will soon own a great camera. There is nothing like new gear days.
