Hello,

I have the Summilux 35mm Steel Rim re-edition and love this lens so much!! It match perfectly on my M10-R! And the files…..just wow 🤩

Butt I have a question 😉
I also have a Fujifilm X-Pro 3 camera and I have a original Fujifilm adapter to mount Leica M lenses on it. Butt it did not work with this lens. I can’t get it to click/fit in the adapter. With voigtlander vm lenses it does work. What can be the reason that it won’t work with this Lux lens?

should i get another adapter? Which one wil work?

Love to hear from you!!!

The Fujifilm M Adapter does not accept any M lens for mechanical reasons. i.e. the Summicron 2/35 last non-ASPH version will not work. I think the compatibility list that was issued with the adapter has not been updated for very new M lenses.

But the adapter should come with a gauge to test if a lens will fit: see https://dl.fujifilm-x.com/support/manual/accessories/mmadapter_manual_ja_en_fr_de.pdf

A Novoflex FUX/LEM adapter should work - however without access to Fuji's adapter menu: https://www.novoflex.de/Adapter-Leica-M-Objektive-an-Fujifilm-X-Mount-Kameras/FUX-LEM

Just curious. Why would you want to do that if you already own a m? I guess the lens will better perform on the m as it is a native lens…

I love this lens so much that i can use it on the xpro body as a 50mm lens ☺️

I only have this 35mm lens for my Leica camera, so now i have a 35 an 50mm lens 😉

I tested the lens with a Urth adapter and it works 🥳

I have the same dreamy files now on my Xpro camera (tested)
