alainD Posted February 20 Share #1  Posted February 20 Advertisement (gone after registration) I did some test shots at 1m at f1/1.4 and f/1/2.8 with both version 2 and the re-edition of the Summilux 50mm. Methodology: I shot with an M11-P on a tripod and had manual exposure set for ISO64. I focused the f/1.4 shots on the 1st "A" of "NASA" and kept the focus as-is for the second shot at f/2.8. Self timer at 2s. Alain. Welcome, dear visitor! FrozenInTime Posted February 20 Share #3 Â Posted February 20 Interesting at f/1.4 the v2 shows background bokeh outlining and smooth foreground bokeh; on the re-edition this relationship reverses.
evikne Posted February 20 Share #4 Â Posted February 20 The re-edition shows a smoother bokeh and more natural colors.

evikne Posted February 20 Share #7 Â Posted February 20 Advertisement (gone after registration) Thanks, both images look great. A bit difficult to compare, as the images are too different (but I always prefer photos of real people to objects and test plans).
