Would appreciate members who have been using Nitecore ULM9 USB charger to charge original Leica M9 battery sharing their opinion / experience .  Does it take long hours to charge from near empty to 100%?

USB charger will be convenient for charging from power bank particularly when out into the wild / camping.

Thanks

I have the same charger, but the model for the Q and Sl2 series battery.

While price is OK, the charger is built a bit on the cheaper side and the display is wired as it show only 1337 mAh on my BP-SCL6 2200 mAh battery and also the charging current is less that it should be.
It seems that battery is correctly full as the Leica charger will not charge further and the mAh value shown is wrong, but it seems with every charge the mAh value rises a bit so he may have to calibrate.

Regarding speed:
a full charge with the included wall charger takes longer than if i connect the charger to my Apple MacBook 80w charger, probably a bit less than the original Leica charger. I did not conduct serious tests, but it's my impression that a full charge last less with a high output usb charger. I am emptying the battery and will connect the Nitecore to my 100W power bank who show the charge current and let you know later.

Is it worth the 50$?
Yes it is worth as the usb-port enables to charge the batteries in the fiel using any usb charger or outlet of a laptop, but probably not to check battery charge and health status on the chargers display.

It may be that i have a lemon or that it works better with your type of battery.
