summiteverest Posted February 16 Share #1 Posted February 16 Advertisement (gone after registration) Dear Leica Forum, Just moved over to Leica and bought a Leica SL2-S kit with the Leica 50mm f2 autofocus lens. Totally loving the camera, really delighted with it. I shot in DNG and then import into Luminar Neo. Are there any Leica SL2-S camera profiles ? Spotted "Leica SL2-S Kroma Pro DNG Color Profiles" but not sure what way to go. Would greatly appreciate any advice or suggestions when using Luminar Neo. best wishes Mike
Advertisement Posted February 16 Posted February 16 Hi summiteverest, Take a look here Leica SL2-s camera profiles for Luminar Neo. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
hansvons Posted February 17 Share #2 Posted February 17 @summiteverest I use Luminar Neo for finishing from time to time, but C1 for everything else. So, I can’t say for sure how to approach that. But my experience with Leica SL2-S DNGs tells me that using a generic DNG RGB profile will lead to nice images with correct colours (I do that in C1, bypassing the regular SL2-S profile working linear).
summiteverest Posted February 18 Author Share #3 Posted February 18 Appreciate that, have a default choice of: Luminar Default or Adobe Standard. Will try the "Leica SL2-S Kroma Pro DNG Color Profiles" as well.
hansvons Posted February 18 Share #4 Posted February 18 OK. I just checked and can only find Adobe Standard and Luminar Default. Luminar Default seems to be the same in the DNG case as Adobe Standard. This makes sense, as DNG is an Adobe invention. This profile has a contrast curve applied and is not linear. Colour separation seems ok when WB is correctly applied (lips are in the red spectrum and skin is in the skin spectrum and looks natural). 39 minutes ago, summiteverest said: "Leica SL2-S Kroma Pro DNG Color Profiles" I have no idea where this stems from. Doesn’t seem to be an official profile. That said, your can create your own profiles or purchase third party ones as DCPs and load them into Luminar.
