FrankU Posted February 3 Share #1 Posted February 3 Advertisement (gone after registration) I just looked at the 'Customize Control' function on my Q3 17mm: I have turned them all to 'off', yet I use focusing help, AWB ... etc in my camera settings all the time. What can a switch of one control in 'Customize ..." from "off" to "on" achieve? Is' customize control' useful for anything? How, When? I wonder ... Why am I asking? I would like one setting place, short cut, ... on the camera that would get me instantly to the (sub)-page with all the mm focal settings displayed instantly. Now I have to wander around the full menu to get there and the shot has often vanished in real life before me when I try to open up the view or 'lens' from 75mm focal to 50 mm focal .. or want to tighten the angle of view. Thanks for any help or suggestions, FrankU
Advertisement Posted February 3 Posted February 3 Hi FrankU, Take a look here Customize Control on Q3 17mm. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
Le Chef Posted February 3 Share #2 Posted February 3 (edited) You have two options options: You could create separate profiles for each of the crops you want to use. So 35, 50, 75, 90. If all you want to do is to change that one setting then save as the 28mm no crop and simply safe the profile as "28". Then repeat and save each one by its crop length. Alternatively you just use the FN button and cycle through the crop length you want to use. You can more information in the instruction manual.
