LeicaR10 Posted February 3 Share #2 Posted February 3 (edited) David, I owned both at one time. The SL 21 Apo is in a class unto itself. It renders and resolves superbly. At 21mm in a prime, it doesn't get any better than that lens. Red Dot Forum has an very good overview and comparison with examples of both lenses. Also, it depends on your genres of photography and what you wish to create. I used SL 21 to create landscapes. The SL 14-24 will give you more choices for FL but has a little bit of distortion and CA.
