mecsw500 Posted February 1 Share #1 Posted February 1 Advertisement (gone after registration) I wanted a UV filter for the Q3 43 and needed to avoid the problems with filters and the standard lens hood in macro mode. Even the slimmest of filters seemed too deep. I bought the following items off Amazon and they seemed to work just fine. Haoge Metal Square Lens Hood for Leica Q3 Q3-43 Camera Accessories Black LH-LQ343B Urth 49mm UV Lens Filter — Ultra-Slim, Multi-Coated UV Camera Lens Protection I couldn't find Leica branded alternatives but both of these items seemed of good quality. Thanks - useful to know the Haoge works. I’m getting ready for a Q3 43 and wasn’t sure the Haoge would do the job. Annoying that Leica made a non function led decision on their own hood!
