There are several styles to choose from: The original leather pouches from Leica (which are usually part of the original package and protect against scratches and dust), full fabric pouches from microfibre (which protect against scratches and dust but not against moisture or heavy hits) or padded pouches or tubes that sometimes even protect agains water. I personally prefer the microfibre fabric pouches because they don't need much space and weight for storage and usually provide enough protection when carrying the lens in another generic bag.
