Mr Jan Posted January 20 Share #1 Posted January 20 Advertisement (gone after registration) The DLUX-8 user manual (PDF file, downloadable from Leica.com) has a section on "Scene Mode" in the chapter on "Special Shooting Modes" (p.115). This sections appears to be a bit of a mess. The opening text states that "Ten automatic program variants are available under the menu item *Scene Modes*". In describing the 10 modes, it lists AUTO and then mentions 6 scene modes: Portrait, Landscape, Night Scenery, Miniature Effect, One Point Color, HDR. It then states: "The following sections offer detailed information about these three functions.". However, instead of describing the scene modes, the next page then switches to describing "Flash Photography". So to recap: * There are supposed to be 10 automatic program variants * 7 program variants are then mentioned, none of which are subsequently described in the manual * The manual states that 3 functions will be described in detail (but none are). My main interest is in finding a description of the actual scene modes and how they work in the DLux-8 (although I also hope that Leica will edit the manual and fix these errors). Thanks for any help! DLux-8 manual P115.pdf
