Kostia Posted January 20 Share #1 Posted January 20 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hello, I plan to buy a Nocti 0.95 and use it on an SL2-S. Do you have any feedback on this combo? Thanks.
Advertisement Posted January 20 Posted January 20 Hi Kostia, Take a look here What about a Noctilux 0.95 on a SL ?. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
vinoeolio Posted January 20 Share #2 Posted January 20 Hello Kostia, this combination works perfectly. I was using the Noctilux 50 0.95 for over 3 years on a SL 601 followed by a SL2-S. Focusing compared to the Leica M is a joy. Swopped recently to a Voigtländer Nokton 1.0 - have no regrets - the Nokton shows even better quality. Dunkelmann Posted January 20 Share #3 Posted January 20 Use the original Leica-M-Converter to have sensor stabilisation. Focusing is a little bit difficult when it is very dark but perfectly possible and much easier than on a M-Leica (even with Visoflex). On the SL2-S big Noctilux seems relatively small and is easy to handle. Its a fine combo. You can take pictures of stars in the sky during the night without a tripod id you wish ... I already use the SL2-S with the 24-90. Easy to handle too in my opinion. I also have the Leica M Converter. I heard, yes, that the focus is easier than on a M camera. Thanks. vinoeolio Posted January 21 Share #6 Posted January 21 Dear Kostia, I changed to the Voigtländer since it is smaller and gives better sharpness across the entire frame. And it costs less than 1/5th of the Nocti. I sold all my M Lenses and changed to Voigtländer and Zeiss, because, the Leica lenses can not hold the value like they used to in the older days. Have a nice day. Josef
