deonvnzl Posted January 17 Share #1 Posted January 17 Advertisement (gone after registration) Can anyone with an SL3-S in hand let me know whether we are finally able to undercrank? I would particularly like to know if you're able to do 12fps and 6fps at a 360degree shutter angle. I understand you would be able to shoot stills at 12fps bursts at 1/12 and 6fps at 1/6 but I am specifically asking about in the video modes. Welcome, dear visitor! If you don't mind working in RAW, DaVinci Resolve can import DNG sequences. Someone will need to confirm that this works with SL3-S DNGs, but it's very useful for timelapse and similar shots. Jpeg sequences work too.

This is how I have been doing it on my SL2-S, like in the example above but I was hoping they might have addressed this by now. Seeing at the Lumix S5II is able to do it. Pelu2010 Posted January 20 Share #5 Posted January 20 I would love to have this functionality on any Leica Camera that shoots video. To be able to over and undercranck is one of the creative process of making film. Most music videos are overcrancked. 33fps. To be able to dial in the correct fps would be great. Many things can't be achieved if you only have the standard fps and shutter angles.

I agree I spoke with a Leica ambassador in Australia and he confirmed this SL3-S still has a minimum frame rate of 23.976 but he has also requested this.
