The Calm after the Storm (a small town a day after massive protests against a right wing party)

Last weekend, the right wing party AFD held their party convention in the small town of Riesa in Saxony. On Saturday, about 15,000 people from all over Germany came to the town to protest against the party's radical right-wing ideas.

While I could not be there on Saturday due to work, I went to Riesa on Sunday to see if there were still protesters, as the convention was still going. What I found was an eerily empty town with very few people in the streets, exept for the many police officers still around in case of trouble. I went along the route that the protesters took and was surprised how little evidence there was of what had been going on only 24 hour earlier.
