Hello all,

Please look at the attached two pictures.  This is a new q3.  I have 2 possibly 3 spots on the lens that I've taken a lens pen to and gently rubbed after blowing dust off with a hand squeeze bulb blower.  These few spots seem to be in the lens or on the inside of the lens.  Again, I haven't gotten too aggressive with rubbing.  I put a UV filter on it, so this isn't anything I've gotten on the lens.

Is this normal for a Leica lens and don't worry about it or should I reach out to Leica?  The camera isn't that old and I'm still within the time period to send it back for an exchange if I need to.  I'd rather do that than send it for repair and wait.

Note too that I turned the camera around 180 degrees from photo 1 to photo two so you can see it's not a light source spot in the lens.

Thank you

John

To my eye, it appears to be a coating aberration. Definitely check with the dealer and insist on a hassle free solution.
