Guest Posted January 9 Share #1 Posted January 9 Advertisement (gone after registration) One of the complaints often mentioned is that none of the post processing apps have in camera profiles for the Leica Looks. Capture One has a relatively new feature, "Match Look", that can emulate the Leica Looks to a certain extent. Take an image in DNG+JPG with your favourite Leica Look and then add the jpeg to the Match Look tool. Then select the DNG and click "Apply" in the tool. The resultant DNG image should be a fairly good copy of the Leica Look in the jpeg. I haven't tested this extensively but the results are quite interesting, and you can save the Match Look settings as a preset to use on other jpegs. Not sure how useful this would really be, but it would act as a guide for relative novices such as myself to see what settings in the Colour Editor etc get tweaked to provide the Look. Llamacide Posted January 14 Share #2 Posted January 14 Clever workaround - I'll have to give that a go!
M Street Photographer Posted January 14 Share #3 Posted January 14 If I may add: you can put any jpg there if it has a certain look that you like, not just Leica looks. This also includes photos from the internet, which puts the sale of film simulations and presets at risk.
