Subtilior Posted January 8 Share #1 Posted January 8 Advertisement (gone after registration) I am a new Q2 owner and have been trying to optimise the operation of the camera. I have set up a profile for use on a tripod where I wish to use the "self timer" set to 2 sec. However, whenever I switch off the camera, this setting gets undone and I have to reset it every time. Being new to the system, I frequently forget to do this. Is this how it is designed to work?

I guess Leica chose to do this so you don't switch your camera on for that once in a lifetime shot only to realise you left it in self-timer when you shut it off two weeks prior. CaliforniTexican Posted March 6 Share #3 Posted March 6 I suffer the same issue. I keep trying to include the 2 sec self-timer in my tripod profile but it seems to function independently. Even when I save the self-timer in the profile, it turns on or off based on whether I switch it on or off specifically, rather than as part of the profile. All the online commentators talk abt how every function except a couple can be saved in the profiles. I have found nothing online or in the manual excluding the self-timer from that, but it certainly doesn’t function that way on my camera.
