Pressing the button and getting a photo?
Leica M is just manual only, Leica Q is AF + M with superb EVF for manual focusing, which is pain in the butt for eyeglasses users with M.

Leica Q3 + Q3 43 is just an excellent option for people who want simplicity and medium format cropping power.

agree, beause I were glasses I changed to the Q ( in camera dioptrie adapter)  and dont forget that you still get a superp quality with the two Q's and IBS wich is almost necesary with a 60 mp sensor. E.g With the Q i can shoot at 1/15 and even 1/8  razorsharp.  with the M11 with the 28 you cannot go lower than 1/60 handheld. I dont see the difference in approach . I see a scene i want a  picture of . with the q i take my camera and it takes minimal time to click. with the M it takes a longer time. Because of that longer time with the M it looks more balanced and it looks if you are more concerned with the image but in fact you are more concerned with the camera.

I tried a similar combination. But I came to the conclusion that I liked the M11-P with a pair of 28/50 much better. So I sold the Q3 and kept the Q3 43 for rainy weather when it is not safe to take the M11-P with me.

Same… I have Q3 43, M11-D with 28 Summicron + 50 Summilux.    I did just get for Christmas a Pro Black Mist filter for the Q3 43 to soften portraits… we’ll see how that works.
