Back in stock at B&H for 2,995 USD. This time without the free battery and M-Mount adapter. Couldn't hold back any longer and ordered one even though its not as good a deal when shipped to Singapore. Now I feel stupid because I should have just got it when it came with the freebies. I guess it will keep me from going out and buying a bunch of M lenses (for now).

You should have ordered from Leica Lisse in Amsterdam. Talk to Duncan Meeder there, he can get you for €2300 camera alone without accessories, shipped via Fedex to anywhere in the world including Singapore.

Go with Leica Lisse you save $600, or with Camerwest you get those $600 worth freebies. Either one is better than B&H deal now. I suggest you cancel your order from B&H if not too late yet.

Thanks!!! I'm a little gun shy with new (to me) vendors. I have had shipping and post sale issues with several (other than B&H, Amazon and Apple) since I've lived here in Singapore. As a result I use them almost exclusively for electronics purchases. Landing tariffs and shipping also negate savings in some cases. Not sure how B&H does it but shipping and GST are almost always lower when I purchase through them.  My guess is batch shipping and some vendors adding "handling" fees to GST calculations. Most importantly the return process through B&H is trouble free. These may just be Singapore issues but its where I live so it is what it is. I have heard great things about Camera West though so I may give them a try sometime.
