leicamann Posted January 4, 2008 Share #2 Posted January 4, 2008 Sorry..this is not well framed at all..the focus seems odd as well like your using F2.8 or something Thanks for sharing Regards, Leicamann
Doc Henry Posted January 4, 2008 Author Share #3 Posted January 4, 2008 Thanks for your comment John You are right may be a framing problem .... this picture is taken from a car far from the lion because I am afraid.... Best regards
biglouis Posted January 4, 2008 Share #4 Posted January 4, 2008 Doc I can see where John is coming from but I don't think you've done the capture justice. I've had a quick go at improving the dynamic range, the contrast and the separation of the subject from the background (I made a slight mistake there but I can't be bothered to go back and fix it), and I've sharpened it up. Anyway, I think it is a good capture because your first impression is that you are looking at a big loveable cat. Then you look at his teeth and common sense tells you not to try and stroke it! I hope you don't mind me doing this to your picture.... John's comments were honest and I thought I'd add some practical ideas. Doc Henry Posted January 5, 2008 Author Share #5 Posted January 5, 2008 Louis, Thanks a lot for this rectification ..."is that you are looking at a big loveable cat" That's exactly my idea when I take this picture Your term "loveable cat" is really just ..the lion isn’t like a “big cat” ? I especially like the eye and the muzzle of this lion..and I must shot quickly ..."I thought I'd add some practical ideas" the result is very nice and "our majesty..." looks better now through your rectification with a good contrast and beautiful colors ..like in my slide You have radically changed the picture Thanks again Louis and John for his comment -
