Marc Moreels Posted December 14, 2024 Share #1 Posted December 14, 2024 Advertisement (gone after registration) I have both the Q3 28 and just recently bought the Q3 43. I updated both cameras to the new firmware update 3.0. I copied my profiles export from the Q3 28 to an SD card and tried to upload those settings to the new Q3 43 - import failed each time I tried. I formatted the SD card multiple times on the new camera but am unable to get a profile settings file to get imported. When I export profiles (limited that it currently is) using the 43, the import works. Any ideas on how I might copy the settings?

I'm afraid you'll need to set the profiles manually. However, the settings file for Q3 43 indicates the camera type e.g. ... { "Camera":"LEICA Q3 43",....... You could try changing that line for your Q3 profiles to match this and see if it works, but I wouldn't recommend it as it might brick your camera. Marc Moreels Posted December 14, 2024 Author Share #3 Posted December 14, 2024 Thank you for your reply. I ended up setting the profiles manually. The result was having greater familiarity with the menus - all good.
