I purchased this several years ago for a Q2 when there were few choices available. JJC offers a reasonably priced round hood with a pinch cap for the Q3 on Amazon. Welcome, dear visitor! Don’t get ripped off by Leica, it’s just a piece of machined aluminium. I got a Haoge filter for 35€, works the same and comes with a lens cap included. Happy with mine, no vignetting. I permanently have a filter installed. Haoge now has also a square hood that works with filters if you prefer. Welcome, dear visitor! BruceRH Posted December 11, 2024 Share #4 Posted December 11, 2024 (edited) I bought a slim round hood off of Amazon for my Q3 28 and then added a B&W slim UV filter for protection. I love the combination, no lens cap, no vignetting and much more compact than the OEM hood. Jeez, it looks dusty! Welcome, dear visitor!
