John351 Posted December 8, 2024 Share #1 Posted December 8, 2024 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hello, I'm new to Leica and the Q3. I've used Capture One for quite a few years with my Fuji cameras. From what I can tell, it doesn't appear as though Leica embeds the necessary profiles in their DNG files for Capture One to use as a starting point for the DNG files to match that of the outputted JPG files. I see there is a Leica Prostandard Profile in Capture One, but again, if I shoot with any of the Leica Looks or the built in color modes like STD, VIV, NAT etc, the DNG doesn't reflect this like other camera manufacturers. Isn't part of the "Leica Look" the color science in conjunction with their body/lens combos? Is there a way to get the DNG to start with the same baked in colors we set on the back of the camera? Maybe I'm missing something being new to Leica? Thank you

Thank you Unfortunately, neither Capture One, Lightroom, nor any other editors provide DNG camera matching profiles for the inbuilt and "Leica Looks" presets. You're stuck with JPEGs if you want to use them.
