DPE Posted December 5, 2024 Share #1 Posted December 5, 2024 Advertisement (gone after registration) I have the above lens which I bought 2nd hand a while ago and have discovered what I think is fungus inside. I didn’t pay an enormous amount of money for it so not sure whether it’s worth paying to get it serviced so wondered whether it might be worth having a go myself. Would anyone know how to disassemble this lens? Welcome, dear visitor! As registered member you'd see an image here… Simply register for free here – We are always happy to welcome new members! dkCambridgeshire Posted December 5, 2024 Share #2 Posted December 5, 2024 Ref 'having a go myself': You Tube lens repair videos illustrate the methodology and tools required for typical lens fungus removal e.g., https://www.youtube.com/@mikeno62 And a Leica Forum search can also illustrate what's involved, e.g., https://www.l-camera-forum.com/topic/356610-cleaning-tele-elmarit-90mm-f28/. . Maybe safer to find a professional / experienced lens repair technician.
Kl@usW. Posted December 5, 2024 Share #3 Posted December 5, 2024 Zitat That is no fungus. Rather a condensation of humidity and or grease.
