xnlo Posted November 30, 2024 Share #1 Posted November 30, 2024 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hello all, I’ve a technical question. I huge a Leica CL (APS-C) and would like to use full-frame M mount lenses with it using an adapter. I’m aware that I’ll need to take into consideration the 1.5 crop factor in the FF focal length. However, I’m troubled by one thought—that is, will my images utilize the cameras full megapixel count, or will using a FF lens not only reduce the focal length but also sacrifice the maximum pixels of the CL? Thanks. i anticipate your responses.

tommonego@gmail.com Posted December 6, 2024 Share #3 Posted December 6, 2024 The CL works well with adapted M lenses, I originally bought the camera to be used with my M lenses, then ran into the issue of a slow normal lens a 25 f3,5 so the first TL lens I picked up was the 23 f2, a nice but exceptional lens. I then saw results from the 11-23 which is an exceptional lens and what I use 75% of the time. I use my 35mm M mount Summilux whchins a lot smalled on the camera than the TL 35mm Summilux, maybe not quite as good but still a nice lens. I recenly nwent out with my 1953 50 Summicron on the CL in an area I knew I needed a little longer lens. I also have a 90 and 135mm I use. Welcome, dear visitor!
