Dear all,

Suddenly today I got a strange vertical row of "dead" pixels. Although perhaps not exactly dead - see pics.

On a white background they look sort of black but with the lens cap on they got colors....

Question of course what to do? Will this be an expensive repair. I can get used to it and use the TL2 as is 😉

Cheers, Arnold

I'd call Leica and see what the cost is to remap the sensor. A couple of years ago I had some electronic work done on my CL, the EVF to LCD transfer wasn't working and the cost was $450, this doesn't require disassembly so it may not be too expensive. Just Googled TL2s and they are going from $1000 to $3000 without lenses.

Leica has stopped producing all crop cameras, but the ones that have been produced are also dying. The deaths start with the screen.

My TL2.
