So if you had extra money, would you invest in a Leica lens or camera now and if so, which one?

I would not mind one or two Leica lenses in addition to one I decided to keep.

M mount of course, AF lenses won't hold its price. Maybe but, I don't have any interest in Leica labeled AF lenses, except M43 ones. But nobody wants to make Pen-F digital MKII, despite high resale price. And here is no GX9 II with weather sealed body on horizon.

And as much as PanaLeica lenses are nice, M43 as format is just limited and boring. Including odd aspect ratio.

Leica bodies... I have two film Leicas left, need to sell one.

Another one is souvenir from good times in Canada. Beater with some light leaks.

Do I want to buy another film M and just keep it without use? I quit from film in 2022, after ten years of Winogrand style including darkroom time.

Film industry most likely will crap out sooner than some digital Leica cameras will stop working.

Film is not working format anymore, but drying niche. Agfa in Belgium will cut 1/3 of the workforce soon to stay afloat for sometime.

Who is buying typewriters at speculative price now...

I have too many different brands cameras now, it needs to be sorted out, before I put extra money on Leica.

Or maybe I never will. I'm still capable of walking, not as long and far as used to be, but still.

And I started to ride on bicycles for long distances since I moved to Belgium and was riding for first time on classic scooters (Vespa). Where are so much more interesting things to put extra money.  Including real estate :)

Where is sticker on drawing board in apartment I'm in for now. It is saying "never settle". In my interpretation it is go for changes, not some investments in some gear.
