Leica Q3 43mm lens hood alignment .

hi was using the recommended round leica hood for my leica Q3 43 then decided to put  the square one back on and found it a bit loose goes further on the A in leica engraving by a wee bit strange it does not just stop ?

I'm using the original hood with my Q343, it isn't loose, has a hard stop, and lines up like this:

huh might try a bit plumbing tape look at the whole thing again many thanks .

just tried the hood without filter seems to fit well ( not in macro mode ) .

just realised the whole filter thing a bit behind , thought it only applied when in macro mode now need a slim filter just to use the square regular 43mm hood huh ! or stick to round .
