r8 battery cover, how do I get one ?..

I bought ny camera with motor drive, and want to be able to shoot without the motor
I can't find anywhere a cover to the battery cell..
Any of you have an idea where do I get one ?

They were apparently hard to find 7 years ago, and I imagine the situation hasn't improved since then. It's probably something you need to hope comes up on ebay (I can see some 'out of stock' listings at the moment), and it might be worth checking ebay.de specifically:

Hard to find parts like this, but its worth checking with Don Goldberg (DAG) to see if he knows best places to find what you are looking for; he searches for parts, too, as part of his repair business.   Also, check with KEH -call them to see if they have the part or an R8 in "ugly" condition that you can buy for the cover.  Similarly, keep following ebay for a "for parts only" listing of an R8 camera at a low price.
