Firmware for External Microphone Support

Anybody hear anything about the firmware update that was promised by the end of October that allows for external microphones to be connected to Q3 cameras?  Official Leica website still contains the information, “The ability to connect gimbals, external microphones (function available end of October), power banks and external display recorders via USB-C and HDMI further enhances the camera’s flexibility for producing professional video content.“. I saw a recent video about the q3 43 from Leica Australia and they had an external mike plugged in via the hotshoe.

Leica website still states firmware update available “end of October”.  They missed their own published timeline. Didn’t even make it by the end of November. Or perhaps they meant October of 2025. Or 2026.
