hayrr Posted November 1, 2024 Share #1 Posted November 1, 2024 Advertisement (gone after registration) I'm interested in trying this lens for the "swirly bokeh" with my CL but it has an M42 mount. I understand you can get an M42-L adapter but would there be any advantage to using two adapters, an M42-M and official Leica M-T/L instead? Because I already have an official Leica M-T/L adapter (currently getting no use) since it came with my CL. Also it's a full frame lens, would that matter aside from converting the focal length and DoF? thanks! Welcome, dear visitor! Advertisement Posted November 1, 2024 Posted November 1, 2024 Hi hayrr, Take a look here TT artisan 75mm f 1.5 "swirly bokeh" lens. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
KitW Posted November 1, 2024 Share #2 Posted November 1, 2024 (edited) An m42 to l adapter will set you back all of $20 and you can leave it on the lens permanently if you wish. There's no advantage to stacking adapters that can imagine. The fact that it's full frame only means that it is bigger than it needs to be and might be a little long for a portrait lens. You can also get tilt adapters that would enable you to do swirly bokeh macro photography if that appeals. Edited November 1, 2024 by KitW
