Unreliable M11 USB Connector

I have owned my M11 for over two years.  From the outset, USB cables would not seat reliably in the M11 connection socket.  Whereas any cable would connect easily and securely to my Mac or iPhone, none would connect to the M11 socket.  They could not enter the socket completely, and would not grip.  I cope by fiddling with the cable until it shows a connection, and then I hold it in place, which is not the ideal solution.  I have been checking this forum to see if anyone else shares my problem. and it seems no one does.  Am I alone?

No problem with my M11 bought in January 2023

Maybe time to use the warranty ?

i get it on the mac port sometime, but it was the cable, the new cable fixed it.

Some cables have different rubber on the port and part of it still stickers out.

Even with the new leica cable from the SL3, there is lots of space to move it after I plug it in. but works and does not disconnect.

I am using the Leica grip when tethered to keep the cable in place, but not every cable fits.
