echorec Posted December 31, 2007 Share #1 Â Posted December 31, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) Is there an exif editor for Mac? I use a 5D with Leica-R lenses and the camera does not (of course) recognize lenses and f-stops. It would be nice to be able to insert the correct values afterwards. Â Thanks, Â Gunnar

echorec Posted December 31, 2007 Author Share #4 Â Posted December 31, 2007 Hm, I could not figure out how to change lens & f-stop data in that application. Will check it out further.
R2-D2 Posted December 31, 2007 Share #5 Â Posted December 31, 2007 Hm, I could not figure out how to change lens & f-stop data in that application. ExifRenamer's purpose is to rename digital photos by their embedded date & time information... Â You could use ExifTool to change the Exif data, but if you have to ask which tool to use I assume that "ExifTool" may be to complicated for you. (no offense intended) Extensis Portfolio might work too, but I'm not entirely sure. I'll post an update when I checked it out.

(no offense intended)  No offense taken. I have never needed these kind of tools before but I learn pretty fast so I´ll check that application out.  Thanks,  Gunnar
R2-D2 Posted January 23, 2008 Share #7 Â Posted January 23, 2008 Advertisement (gone after registration) Gunnar, Â I tried it with Extensis Portfolio and FotoWare FotoStation Pro with no success. I didn't try MediaDex, but I doubt it'll work. I already knew that iView MediaPro won't work. Â Did you try ExifTool? I posted an example in this thread. echorec Posted January 25, 2008 Author Share #8 Â Posted January 25, 2008 Hi there, Â I did not try it, maybe a bit scared of the terminal window. However, Reveal gave me what I was looking for except the ability to register the name of the lens. Â Thanks, Â Gunnar
