Advertisement Posted December 31, 2007 Posted December 31, 2007 Hi Guest Olof, Take a look here Which ballhead for panorama pictures + stitching ?. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
Guest Olof Posted December 31, 2007 Share #2 Posted December 31, 2007 the spirit level should be over the ballheads ball, and may be a revolving disk would also be good (for panorama pictures). Novolex has a Panorama Disk, but you had attach it on your ballhead, a ballhead with these disk fixed would be nice.
andybarton Posted December 31, 2007 Share #3 Posted December 31, 2007 I use the patented "Barton Swivel Hips" when I do most of my panoramas, but when I use a tripod, I just use my normal Manfrotto head. Stitching software is so good these days that any minor deviations from a true plane are easily sorted in the computer.
