... at the top of the screen announcing new products or surveys etc etc, please can they be linked to our logins rather than, presumably, IP addresses so that once seen the first time they go away rather than cropping up on every single device one might own. They really do become tiresome when you access the forum from four different devices.

Also, the one for the new Q3, please can we make it go away? I’m thoroughly sick of it now! I know there’s a new camera, stop telling me over and over!

Same here - but if you click on big cross that seems to stop it reappearing on THAT computer for the day, ie jumped over to iPad and had to clear it on that also.

Yup. I’m quite happy with it coming up once, for me. What I don’t like is it will now come up four times for me, on each of the four devices I use to access the forum. It turns something that can be informative into something that is an annoyance. Also, it isn’t there just for one day. If I don’t use one of my devices until Friday or a week on Friday (for example) it will be there waiting for me. It really is quite annoying!

It's due to cookies being specific to the device. And I apologise for the banner that I set up at the weekend, if that's one of those that is bothering you. That will definitely expire in about 10 days.

Something else has changed in the last couple of days. I view the forum on my iPhone using Safari and it used to keep me logged in between visits. Now each time I visit I have to log in afresh. Using Safari on my MacBook doesn't have this problem. Of course this could be a iOS security update thingy - it may be nothing to do with the forum.

IIRC the banner popups have always reappeared when I jump between devices - as if the forum gets nervous when I come from a different device from the previous session.
