clasami Posted October 25, 2024 Share #1 Posted October 25, 2024 Advertisement (gone after registration) In Spot AF-S, the camera always briefly shows a magnified portion of the image? Is there a setting to change that - or need I wait for a firmware update (if ever)?
Advertisement Posted October 25, 2024 Posted October 25, 2024 Hi clasami, Take a look here D-Lux 8: Spot AF-S. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
clasami Posted October 26, 2024 Author Share #2 Posted October 26, 2024 No need to answer my question. Returned the camera because: 1. The image magnification using spot AF-S in anoying. 2. The brightness of the EVF cannot be adjusted. It is too dark in bright sunlight. 3. The image quality is just not consistent across the zoom range, in particular towards infintiy. Also getting some strange softness hat could have been caused by the stabalization. I can crop my Q2 images and still get better IQ at 75mm. Guess I have been expecting too much from my (first) M4/3 sensor.
