Gee Tee Posted October 14, 2024 Share #1 Posted October 14, 2024 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hi Everyone, I'm new to posting on the forum, but I'm a long time viewer. I'm trying to achieve a a rear curtain flash effect, i.e. 2 second end of firing flash with absolutely no luck. I have two flash systems. I have the SF60 with a Leica trigger and several flashpoint off camera studio flashes with a Leica flashpoint trigger also. All of these flashes work perfectly in most all flash situations except for a two-second delay. I've tried going into the menu and altering end of firing sync and slow sync. But nothing I do works. All of my flash systems work down to a 1/3 to one second, but that's it. No 2 second delay, no three second delay.I just want to restate this is not about what flash systems work my Leica Q3, it's that I can't achieve a slow shutter speed flash of two seconds or more. Even Leica's own FS 60 doesn't work at achieving that rear curtain flash. I'm pretty certain it's something I haven't done or need to do, but I can't think what that is. I would appreciate any help this forum can offer. Thanks in advance, Graham

Thanks in advance, Graham If I understand the scenario correctly, you should be able to select between 2-12 second delay by activating the :Self Timer in the menu.....good luck
